High Friction Isolation Pigs

High Friction Isolation Pigs are primarily used to provide low pressure sealing and isolation of pipelines allowing for maintenance and intervention work to take place. They are also able to be used whilst pipelay flooding and dewatering is taking place.

High Friction Pigs are factory-tested in-house prior to dispatch to confirm piggability and pressure holding capabilities.

Available in sizes from 8” to 48”, they are also able to last for 5 to 10 km prior to their use and following that they have been pigged over 600km (including through features such as Wyes, Unbarred Tees and Check Valves)

Optional features which are available for these pigs are:

  • Trident EM or Acoustic Pig Tracking Device
  • Long Run Support / Guide Discs
  • Neodymium Magnet Packs for scale collection and detection.
