Welding Pigs
Proplug Welding Pigs create an ideal weld purge environment for catenary welding off the rear of a pipelay vessel. Tyre inflation and purge is controlled through the weld root gap.
Over-pressure tyre dump system allows the unit to be pigged through the line at low pressure along with the Flood Clean and Gauge (FCG) Pigs.
Mid-Line Welding Pig
Designed to be inflated and purged through the weld root gap. Over-pressure tyre dump allows low pressure pigging along with the FCG Pigs.
End-Line Welding Pigs
Designed to be inflated and purged via hoses through the rear of the pig and removed via a retrieval wire out of the pipeline end.
Disc Welding Pig
A passive design which uses high temperature discs to provide the isolation of the welding area.
